Paddock to Palate success

We are thrilled with the performance of our team of 6 steers in the RNA Paddock to Palate Steer Competition presented at the EKKA in Brisbane on the 7th of August. In the 70 Day Trade Division our team performed extremely well picking up a number of prizes. Our steers proved that pure-bred Angus really can compete against all other breeds.

Our team of Coffin Creek steers were awarded:

• Second Overall
• Champion Carcass
• Champion Pen of 6 Carcasses

We are over-the-moon with these results. It strengthens the belief in our breeding program and reinforces the carcass merit of our cattle. The bulls who sired these steers, in particular Coffin Creek Deliver D71, are still in use in our herd and their sons will feature highly in our future bull sales.
